The press ALTEK was mounted and put into operation in the plant's foundry in first quarter of 2003. This press is designed for processing of hot dross forming in melting furnaces while aluminium alloys production. Hot dross is transferred to the press in a mould where residual molten metal is squeezed which rejected before. Accelerated dross cooling permits to reduce waste of metal. Furthermore, dross compacting improves climate in the workshop as well working conditions by charging and discharging.
